Celebrate the first decade of the XFFL and the Canton Ghosts. The Ghosts represent the best players from the first decade of the league. These players outrank all of their peers in statistics, pro bowls, and championships.
The Xtreme Fantasy Football League was created on July 17, 2003, with the six teams of Cincinnati Dragons(Nick Ernst), Orlando Desperados(Matt Ricklefs), Sacramento Species(Abe Barnhardt), Miami Fire(Andrew Lundt), Kansas City WildCats(Tom Ricklefs) and the Phoenix FireBirds(David Hopper).
Following the 2012 (10th) XFFL season, the Canton Ghosts were created as a team that would represent the best players from the first decade of the league (2003-2012).
In another way to honor the history of the league, the Canton Ghosts will have 3 QBs, 3 RBs, 5 WRs, 2 TEs, 1 K, 3 DLs, 3 LBs, and 3 DBs to mix a little new school with old school as far as line-ups are concerned.
